Barton Community College Foundation is a dynamic and experienced professional team that has responsible experience in friend and fundraising. Our mission is important to the success of our nonprofit corporation and we serve our constituents with the utmost integrity and respect to ensure we are being good stewards of the financial support they entrust to us. Our director, office staff, and board of directors work as a cohesive group to analyze, plan and implement the best practices in higher education advancement. We are continually working to improve the internal and external relationships for the benefits of our donors, students and the college as a whole.
The Foundation offers financial assistance through a scholarship process, but we also address the needs of various instruction departments and financially assist in making improvements to the student’s learning experience by having several different initiatives to meet the different goals of our department. We continue to build community partnerships and bring new ideas to the college from the public sector.
Foundation driven initiatives have included the Cohen Center for Kansas History, Shafer Art Gallery, Silver Cougar Club, countless program enhancements as well as renovation of the Learning Resource Center, Student Union, Performing Arts Auditorium and classrooms. We are here to serve the college through donors, community and student involvement and we take our commitments very earnestly.
